Limited Edition Vitra Artek Stool 60
I am excited to announce a special collaboration between Vitra and myself, resulting in a unique interpretation of the iconic Artek Stool 60. As the base, we used the legendary stool60, a design by Alvar Aalto that has been in continuous production since 1933 and is renowned for its timeless simplicity and versatility. This wooden, minimalist piece can serve as a seat, table, storage unit, or display surface.
For this edition, we printed a photo on the stool, taken from the cover of my book To Live and Drive in Los Angeles. It comes in only three limited colors, produced in small quantities, making it a distinctive piece that blends art, design, and functionality.
This limited edition is more than just furniture, it’s a tangible piece of art that celebrates the rich history and enduring relevance of Aalto’s design. An object that never goes out of style. The collaboration between Vitra and myself highlights our shared passion for innovation, creativity, and great design.
